Best pot ever.

We have had this pot for several years. We just purchased a replacement only because the years have taken their toll on the appearance, the pot itself still works great. We originally purchased it because it was the only 12 cup we could find at the time ( we do need our morning coffee ). We set it to brew at 3:00 am so we have coffee ready and hot if we get up at 4:30 am or 9:00 am. In fact it is still drinkable hot after dinner. The biggest advantage is your coffee does not develope that burned taste coffee gets at about two hours on a burner.

Pretty good coffee maker

I like this coffemaker with two reservations. In order to keep the coffee hot and fresh, the lid is very restrictive as it pours. You almost upend the pot got get the coffee to come out. The other thing that is annoying is the unit is taller than any other coffee maker I have ever owned. It does not fit on the counter under my cabinets. The coffee is good and the fuller the pot, the hotter the coffee stays.

In love with a coffeemaker

Is it possible to be in love with a coffeemaker? My answer is an unqualified, "Yes." I like the entire design of the unit with the exception of a back lit time display. I find it hard to see the time setting. Otherwise it is just perfect. It makes 12 cups of coffee, keeps it hot all day long. Since it goes directly into a thermal container, there is no heating coil or other electronics under a hot plate that might short out if the pot were to overflow. I especially like the set and forget feature. I do not have to wait for my morning coffee to brew because I neglected to set the auto brew feature. The whole unit is a cinch to keep clean. This is a dream come true for me.
